All employees of Bridgeport Hospital are part of the patients care team and contribute to the team approach of promoting access, continuous, comprehensive care and work to provide quality improvement in the care provided to their patients.

A strong, positive and collaborative culture exists among the emergency medicine attending, the ED nursing staff, the private physicians, the hospitalist physicians, the physician assistants, the nurse practitioners, the emergency medical services staff, medical and PA students, the volunteers, and the ancillary/support staff.
