Responsible for the performing the clinical assistant and secretarial functions of the Primary Care Center. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent. Medical Assistant Program from an accredited school.
Two years of relevant experience.
Certification/Certification eligible Medical Assistant preferred.
Proficient keyboard skills, Knowledge of word processing, workers' compensation and drug screening laws preferred, Good communication and customer service skills,
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk and or hear. They may occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
